William (Bill)  Worcester from Fort Scott, Kansas, has been called to be the minister of First Christian church.  He will assume his duties on July 1, 2003.

10 Ladies from our church will be attending the Highland CWF meeting on November 6 at 2:00 P.M.

Teacher Appreciation will be held on Sunday, November 2 during church.

Veteran Appreciation will be held Sunday,  November 9 during the worship
hour.

 10 youth and 4 sponsors will be attending the State Youth Conference to be held in Salina on November 7-9.

The 125th anniversary of our church will be celebrated on Sunday, November 23rd in conjunction with our annual Thanksgiving Day Meal after church.  All previous members are invited to attend and help us celebrate.  Heading the committee is Betty McQueen and Lois Bowen.
